What Are Your Therapy Offerings?

Individual Therapy
If you’ve a history of relational misattunements discerning your knowings and understanding your relational needs can be hard. The goal of our work will be to increase your experience of self trust, access to your natural resiliency, and increase the integrative capacity of your mind; to up your level of OK-ness. Ok-ness does not mean calm or feeling good; it is a subconscious assessment that you can handle this situation.

Individual sessions are 45-minutes in length, weekly.

Relationship Therapy
I help people in consensual committed relationships make powerful insights, sustain lasting change, and integrate healthy new relational skills to repair connection, infidelity and trust, increase intimacy, improve communication, and deepen relational integrity.

Relationship therapy sessions are 90-minutes in length, every other week.

What Are Your Fees?

I value economic justice and adopted an equitable fee scale. This as considered a part of my larger mission to strive for racial, gender, sexual, and disability justice. Discounted fees are reserved for people who are financially unable to afford my full fee. The Equitable Fee Scale is available for individual and relationship therapy but not available for 20-hour relationship intensives.

Do You Work With Insurance?

No. I do not take insurance. I am licensed in the States of NY, CO & MA so if you have out of network benefits you may be able to receive reimbursement. Upon your request, I’ll provide a superbill to submit to insurance for receiving Out-of-Network benefits. I make no guarantees about the level of reimbursement you may receive. It's your responsibility to research insurance coverage before beginning therapy. You may need to waive your insurance benefits if you choose to work with me. I’ve opted-out of providing both in/out-of-network services through the Medicare program.

Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. I accept full fee at or before the time of service via cash, check, debit, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express. FSA/HSA cards can also be accepted for therapy sessions. I do not accept third-party payments or carry account balances.

Additional information about “good faith estimates” available here.

What’s Your Cancelation Policy?

I get that life happens and from time to time you may need to cancel or reschedule our sessions. Your session time is reserved especially for you and so I request that you offer me notice to avoid fees. Therapy sessions canceled with less than 48-hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.

Do You Have Other Offerings?

Indeed I do. Here’s a sampling you are invited to explore…

20-hour Relationship Intensives
While Relationship Intensives are not therapy, they are a good fit for people who are seeking profound relational shifts, enjoy self-exploration or don’t have time available on a regular basis. If the pain you want to heal from and the growth you are hoping for feels too urgent to slowly work through over months or years, an Intensive may be for you. Intensives consist of seven sessions, the first four are 3.5-hours each (within 2 or 3 week span), followed by three 2-hour follow-up sessions to support integrating your new self/relational care practices.

What’s Your Licensure & Experience?

I hold clinical social work licenses in the states of New York, Massachusetts, and Colorado. I’ve long been on a quest to help folks heal legacy burdens, increase trust in the wisdom of their protective systems, and develop relational practices that support generational wellness. Practicing as a psychotherapist since 2003, my work blends modalities for relational trauma healing together in an integrative experiential relational practice I call Connectfulness®. I’m a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Internal Family Systems therapist, certified Relational Life Therapist, and certified HOCII Therapist. The STAIR Method, developed by Juliane Taylor Shore, is a neurobiological framework that guides my work. You can find all the nitty gritty details about my experience and licensure here.
