somatic relationship therapy for individuals

Adulthood is lonely when you don’t know and understand yourself.

We all experience some stress inside of everyday moments. We all carry with us our own unique history colored lenses comprised of a host of implicit developmental, relational, and epigenetic experiences. These lenses make up the template that your natural stress response process subconsciously uses to assess when you’re experiencing a lack of safety, overwhelm, fear, pain, relational misattunements, disembodiment or flooding, so it can take action to protect you. That’s why you shift into reactionary states (fight, flight, freeze) when you assess you aren’t OK.

Our work will strive up your level of perceived OK-ness & self-trust.

In other words, we’ll work with brain savvy tools to deal with the factors that block your natural resiliency and capabilities for healing and growth. Not everything that holds you back is going to be within your control, and we’ll work with that too. Upping your perception of Ok-ness does not mean you’ll always feel calm or good…

It’s a subconscious assessment that you can handle this situation.

I blend relational, somatic, and neurobiological approaches to trauma healing to help you undo aloneness, witness your own mind, increase self trust, resilience, and compassion. I draw from a blend of relational healing modalities including Somatic Experiencing (SE), and Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapy (DARTT), to help access and heal the heart of the problem so that you bring the most authentic version of your Self into relationship with skill and health.
